…ker in SidebarV2 The SidebarV2 'New thread' button previously opened a custom Dialog modal with a project picker when multiple projects existed. This was introduced in the Sidebar v2 commit but felt out of place compared to the existing command palette which already has 'New thread in...' actions. Route multi-project new-thread creation through the command palette via a new event bus (commandPaletteBus), removing the Dialog, its picker state, and the now-unused newThreadPickerBus.

When clicking 'New thread' with multiple projects, the command palette now opens directly into the project picker submenu rather than requiring the user to search or navigate to it manually. Adds a 'new-thread-in' intent to the command palette reducer and a detail field on the commandPaletteBus to communicate this intent.

Instead of silently consuming the intent when already in a submenu, reset the view stack to root and then push the project picker. This ensures the user always sees the project list regardless of prior state.
Clear the addProjectCloneFlow state alongside the view stack and query so the command palette doesn't show clone-related UI when opening the project picker via the new-thread-in intent.

openCommandPalette({ open: 'add-project' }) bus calls across all consumers.
Move isCommandPaletteOpen() into commandPaletteBus.ts. Delete

When opening the command palette via the new-thread-in intent, sort projects so the active thread's project is listed first. This matches the old SidebarV2 dialog behavior where the contextual project was focused by default.

The item value format is new-thread-in:\:\, so matching on projectId alone could lift the wrong row when two environments share a local project id. Match the full value prefix instead.

Route multi-project new-thread creation through the command palette via a new event bus (commandPaletteBus), removing the Dialog, its picker state, and the now-unused newThreadPickerBus.
Additionally, consolidated the command palette open mechanism onto the event bus: replaced the React context pattern (

The SidebarV2 'New thread' button previously opened a custom Dialog modal with a project picker when multiple projects existed. This was introduced in the Sidebar v2 commit but felt out of place compared to the existing command palette which already has 'New thread in...' actions.

Overview
Multi-project “new thread” no longer uses SidebarV2’s custom dialog or
newThreadPickerBus. The New thread control and the globalchat.newshortcut (when Sidebar v2 is on and there is more than one project) callopenCommandPalette({ open: "new-thread-in" }), which opens the palette on a Projects view with the current project listed first.Opening the palette from anywhere is centralized in
commandPaletteBus(openCommandPalette,onOpenCommandPalette,isCommandPaletteOpen).
